Development Framework

KCH’s Vision Statement:  To improve the quality of life for children living with HIV and AIDS in Choma District.

KCH’s Mission Statement:  KCH is committed to providing a caring environment that enables children living with HIV to respond positively to their status.  Through providing counselling, health care, education, increased individual, family and community support, children with HIV are empowered to take control of their lives with confidence, dignity and hope.

The overall project aims to enhance the capacity of, and care for, children living with HIV/AIDS. By assisting children to access the services they need, KCH can create and develop opportunities for children to help themselves in future. 

This project proposal encompasses KCH’s developmental philosophy, seeking to further empower and mobilise families especially grandmother and reinforce the overall direction of the organisation.
